I was pleasantly surprised at how gracefully my daughter handled her first day of Kindergarten. She came home with all kinds of stories of things she learned, people she met, and “projects” she gets to continue tomorrow. I swear she aged 2-3 years over the span of seven hours.
It’s the first year for all-day Kindergarten in West Des Moines. Thus far, I’d say they pass with flying colors. Only 179 more days of school remain!
